It's not ideal to use -fpermissive as you could be masking real bugs, but I took a look at fixing it correctly and it's a bit more involved than I have time for right now, so for now I've added -fpermissive to the pkgsrc Makefile and will backport the change to the 2016Q4 branch. The package should show up in the 2016Q4 sets by tomorrow.
