Thanks, I understand the basics of ZFS and how to create zvols / datasets etc but what I am looking for is the JSON required for vmadm to allow me to link the said zvol / dataset (preferably in the global zone) to the kvm vm (assuming that it is possible).
What I'm looking to do (and I know you can use samba) is to use my Windows Server 2012 R2 kvm vm for some file sharing.
