As it so happens Asus released a new motherboard bios today, which I promptly updated. I can now actually see what is happening. SmartOS gets to the grub menu. Regardless of which of the 3 grub items I select, I end up with the following error: "*Error 28: selected item cannot fit into memory*"
FYI, my system has 64GB of Ram and a few terabytes of storage. Thanks On Thu, Mar 23, 2017 at 4:26 PM, Joshua M.
