As an anecdote, perhaps not super-helpful, I just upgraded my home machine to joyent_20170413T062226Z earlier today and am not seeing that issue. I don't recall seeing it on joyent_20170330T015208Z and in theory the version I was running before that was that same joyent_20170315T210557Z where I also do not recall seeing that issue.
