Good eye on the bash prompt (and helpful as usual)- it's been long enough since I've been in SmartOS CLI I didn't notice. (Been trying to configure guests w/ Ansible/Saltstack as much as possible.) Looks like when I last updated I edited .bashrc (which is actually /opt/custom/bash.rc per https://wiki.smartos.org/display/DOC/Persistent+root+dotfiles), I overwrote the whole thing rather than appending. Restoring those lines and a quick ". ~/.bashr" fixed it.
That's what I get for tossing in "one quick little change" and (apparently) not testing properly. (I hear change management is a thing...) *"Everybody has a testing environment. Some people are lucky enough enough to have a totally separate environment to run production in."* On Thu, Apr 20, 2017 at 1:33 PM, Nahum Shalman <[email protected]> wrote: > As an anecdote, perhaps not super-helpful, I just upgraded my home machine > to joyent_20170413T062226Z earlier today and am not seeing that issue.
