I wonder if you're wondering how to connect to the SmartOS graphical
interface. If yes, then I would like to try to answer your question.

Smartos is purely console mode. There is no X running. You will need to
connect via ssh to manually administer it, or use tools like Triton,
project fifo, or config management tools like Chef.

Keeping the above in mind, others' responses are the approaches to
consider. You would be configuring the web server in a zone. Depending upon
how you've exposed the zone, you'd connect to the corresponding IP on the
specific port of the web server. The others have given approaches such as
using curl to check.

In case I have misunderstood your question, then please do ask your
question differently.
