Physical memory and swap are only loosely coupled these days; swap is more an insurance policy. Or are you using the swap area on your disk as the dump device for crahsdumps? That is not really recommended any more, but if you do, you might want to check if the dump will still fit. Also, if you have limited your ZFS ARC size, you might want to consider increasing it if you can spare the memory.
