Hi Michael!

I am sorry for the delay, real life stuff come first. I am now at
DebConf9 <http://debconf9.debconf.org>, thus I have plenty of time to
work on Openmoko+Debian.

While I agree, this does not explain why Zhone does show the same
behavior even when delayed by 180 seconds.

This is, however, a no-op, sorry. If this can be solved by a
configuration/runtime option, then I would be more than happy to put a
note somewhere about that.

Is there any public discussion about that?

However, I am not completely sure that this is related to D-Bus
timeouts, first because as I wrote above delaying Zhone starting should
just avoid the problem and second because after other tests I found that
simply restarting Zhone does not solve the issue, but I also need to
kill the running gsm0710muxd, which seems to be in some way involved. I
will try to dig a bit more, but again it is strange that I am the only
one hit by this problem.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
