I have a service (the samba SWAT service to be specific) which works just fine on one machine and doesn't on the other.
I get a status through svcs -x of (essentially) "It's not working and I wasn't told why". Suggestions as to debugging? Trussing inetd is pretty useless (it does ksh -^Eun /usr/sfw/sbin/swat) and nothing more of swat is seen in the truss (both on the working system and the bad one). The log files are useless as well. inetadm recognizes it and prints the configuration (identical on both boxes). Suggestions? Jim ---
