Thank you for this. I'll have to think hard before I put my first comments in, as I'm well on my way to agreeing that "start" is a bad choice for what I'd like to see added. But, I don't yet know how to reconcile this with the original request and the counter-argument of start/stop as top-level verbs indicating transience being dangerous. Or, perhaps I don't need to reconcile it, and the discussion will point to another path. Rainer -- Mind the gap.
