The steps to create this situation are listed in my post above, but here is a quick version:
1.) Import your new service that has a dependency on an existing service. 2.) Remove your new service with svccfg delete service-name 3.) Re-import your new service 4.) Receive error message about "svccfg: Could not create "zones" dependency in svc:/system/zones (already exists)." 5.) Perform tasks in the message I posted earlier. 6.) Pray for a patch to the svccfg delete command that will clean this up. This message posted from opensolaris.org
