As an outsider to Sun, I for one think it's a great start.

I don't agree. I think that multiple pages shows that a community is 
growing and that there are many people involved. Sure, there could be an 
"official" FAQ, but the point of OpenSolaris was to foster involvement 
from many people, or so I thought. Smacking people down only promotes 
dissent.
