At this time I can't because the person doing it isn't in the office for 
a couple of weeks - off traveling around Europe on a motor bike.  When 
he gets back I'll find out more from him on the actual details and see 
what I can post.

The one thing I know for sure is that smdiskless is not being used for 
configuration of the clients, it might be getting used to create the 
inital golden image but that would be it.
