I have to agree on this score, and that leads me to a question: Would someone (David? Lianne?) be interested in writing a short article on SMF? I'm thinking of something that dispels some of the misunderstandings around SMF and how it isn't really like the old runlevels, etc. I can post it on the Big Docs List. I think this would be a very valuable addition to the OpenSolaris site. I could potentially write something to submit for correction/clarification, but it might be better for someone with a clear understanding to write this up.
