I vaguely remember during working on: 6183620 svcs -x should print logfile location
the topic coming up of allowing services to specify alternative locations for its log files, but I don't remember the conclusion. It would seem very handy to be able to tell svcs -x about service-specific log file locations, for fairly obvious reasons. I suppose this might also affect the fix for: 6357254 xntpd logfile should become service property to use this standard property, depending on whether it belongs in the template or not. Has some thought been given to this? It would be very useful for the Xen services at least. thanks, john
