Hi Franklin, Yep -- you got it.
If you notice, Tobi is sorting the 20 pings that FPing does every 300 seconds (using defaults) by the latency values (with unknown values pushed to the top and bottom). The "colored line/dot" is the median value with the smoke showing the distribution of latency (IOW, jitter) above and below that median. IOW, more smoke = more jitter (variation in latency).
