oh :-) the extopus frontend is written entirely in javascript,
using only ajax calls to talk to the backend, all new and beautiful
code. It is resizable, and never reloads and is thus as fast as
things get.

It does look like a desktop application, but that is intended ...

that said, due to the fact that smokeping will have a jsonrpc
interface, you could easily consume its content from other places
too (like a classic web page for example).

still working on the probing event loop, but as soon as it is done
I will move into the frontend stages to get something to show off,
things may become much cleare then :-)
