Hi, The Manufacturer name is enough for the app to use the Wavecom Handler. The current wavecom handler has the command for soft reset (CFUN). Just test it for a couple of days and let me know how it goes.
By the way, use the latest version as well (v3.4.5 - http://smslib.blogspot.com/2010/01/smslib-v345-released.html).
