I have to implement a system that send SMS (it's not require to receive them), I've been investigation several gateways and libraries (Kannel and SMSLib for example) and found this lib that can connect to Kannel but this got me thinking the following questions:
- why should I use a gateway if SMSLib can connect directly to the modem? - what are the differences between using a gateway and not using it? - Does a gateway give more stability than SMSLib?
