Thanks Thanasis. I used AT command to delete all storage areas. That error never appeared afterwards.
However I'm still bothered by portinuse exception from time to time. It is intermittent. Software runs fine for hours and then portinuse exception reported by watchdog. I have to restart SMS Server. It is my own implementation as per smslib documentation and SendMessage.java. Can I trap this exception and recover automatically? Potentially I can spawn a thread and check the smslib start status. If not started, I could start it again by executing start. But that's what the watchdog is supposed to do, isn't it?
