Dear Smugs, I have finally succumbed to temptation and got an i phone. To my dismay, it won't sync with Address Book on my Mac. I keep getting the following error message:
"i Tunes was unable to load data class information from sync services. Reconnect or try later". Searching through the various discussion sites this appears to be largely a problem for Vista users and people with jail broken phones. I am virtuously running Leopard 10.5.5, i Tunes 8.0.1 and i Phone 2.1 and I'm mighty miffed that it doesn't just work. A clue may be that the sync preferences with tick boxes and radio buttons when they come up do not have an 'apply' button and are reset when I do a return - perhaps i Tunes 8.0.1. just hasn't been finished off yet. Anyone had similar problems or know of a remedy?
