Dear Smugs,

Whilst looking at some websites using Safari, I experienced Antivirus (as
opposed to i - Antivirus for Mac) trying to install when I canceled a a
popup. I closed Safari ASAP. I understand that this is some form of
scamware that puts bogus infection messages on PCs to get you to buy it.

When I check browsing history I get this message "http/%2F%
2Fwww.bleepingcomputer.com%2Fmalware-removal%2Funinstall-antivirus-2009.webhistory"
is an application which was downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you
want to open it?". I can't find any sign of this in downloads or
applications.

Should I be concerned and if so how can I remove any malicious code? How
can I stop this happening again (I have Leopards firewall activated).

Malcolm
