why not use a web based solution or online service?

its been available for years!

email to fax !

email em and it gets received on desired nr as fax..for free in most
cases!

but if you use any of the existing software solutions im afraid it
wont work on broadband as it requires a modem dial up connection /
line to bleep it over as data to the receiver

ps. correct me if im wrong, maybe there is software to do it who
allows using your broadband set up? FAX STF springs to mind? it costs
but the software just like any other can be downloaded via torrents at
the piratebay.org and tjhousands of other bittorrent distributing
sites where its free but no so legal ive been told? ;)

so if im correct about this, just create a quick dial up connection
with a so called free dial up nr ( eg: goto uk2.net and use their dial
up 0800 or 0845 number normally costing you the phone charges only
which used to be a penny a minute but think its 4p now a min! ) and
solely use that to send yer Fax and reconnect to broadband when done!

g Luck!
