And having got used to my new Mac book, I realised that I no longer have an external start-up for DiskWarrior. I used to use a four gig USB drive with a slimmed down version of Tiger
No problem I thought I can repartition the disc and create a small partition for a basic system to start up from. So went to disk utility and set that in motion, creating a 20 gig drive. Since I have 130 Gig spare I didn't think it would be a problem. Disk utility has been running the repartition for about seven hours now. I don't want to quit it but does that sound about right? If it's moving files to make room, it really should have finished by now, surely? (I wouldn't expect there to be a lot of files at the end of the disc with all that space...) For now I will just leave it running but I have to shut down the machine to move it tomorrow... any advice welcome! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
