yes but the server needs to be running Filemaker server software 
- which is usually expensive.

Look into Voodoopad. It has some really useful exports including 
html and is a cinch to use. www.flyingmeat.com. I set up quite a 
few small-scale sites with this. (see the no longer in use 
<http://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ucgajpd/Academic/Education/adulteducation.html>). 
You can make it more sophisticated and I don't know if I tried 
having files linked but I don't see why it won't work.
