I recently asked people to take a particular arrangement off list, once they had established contact. I'd just like to clarify that the reason I did this is that I have had people leave recently, saying that the signal to noise ratio does not suit them. As such, I'm just trying to encourage people, once they have made initial contact through the list (which is what it is for) to make the final detailed arrangements off list.
It's just about striking a balance somewhere in the middle.
