Hi Virginia

Perhaps the information has become out of sync between the devices.  
Connect your iPhone, open iTunes, click on the iPhone in the sources  
list, click on the info tab, scroll down to the bottom and tick all  
the boxes to replace the various types of information that you want to  
sync, click apply, click sync.
