Anyone any bright ideas regarding how I can transfer photos from my camera's SDHC card (or the camera itself) to my second generation Touch as a backup ? - I'm shortly going to be vanishing of to the sunny south Med for a touch of 'Kultur' and, because I'm trying to travel as lightweight as possible, I definitely won't be taking the laptop, thereby ruling out using that as either a backup or a means of transferring to the Touch using one of the App Store apps...
Given that I'm talking about 12GB + of large files (12 mpx RAW) I don't see myself being able to upload them via Mobile Me or anything similar, even were I try find an Internet Cafe that didn't charge extortionately for the privilege... Could an iPod 'Classic' serve the purpose and, if so, what would I need by way of hardware/software ? - Having checked out Apple Support, it only seems possible if it's used as an external hard drive to a computer... Finally, if none of the above will work, has anyone had any experience with non-Apple photo-storage devices... The ones I've come across generally appear to be quite expensive and, if I have to go this way, I'd like to know what their good/bad points may be.. Sorry, bit long-winded but ANY help would be much appreciated !
