Thanks for your suggestions.  Sam was very helpful, but in the end I
took it to Robert Harding as it was probably going to be an insurance
claim....and he couldn't find a thing wrong with it!  Powered it up,
sat it running on the desk for a couple of days while I was away then
handed it back free of charge because he hadn't had to open it up.
Fantastic customer service so I'll be back when something really does
go wrong.
