Derek is mowing the lawn and has asked me to apologise on his behalf,
and to explain.

Our bombastic dinner guest (he came with his parents, uninvited) was
rubbishing Macs, maintaining that "earlier this year the memories of
half the Macs in the world were destroyed by the Applebyte virus". As
you might have guessed, having never heard of the virus, Derek reacted
by emailing SMUG when perhaps Google would have been more appropriate.

We have since Googled "Applebyte virus" and, of course, there is no
such thing. Sorry everyone!

Regards,

Gilly
