reletively new, i jiggered around with some of the settings for the  
email and it seems to have fixed that although i am still getting two  
copies of each contact, but only on my phone, mobile me and my  
computer are fine. I think i might have to just go through my phone  
and delete the dupes manually unless there is a way to search for  
dupes in the contacts module on the iphone, i doubt it?

not sure what you mean. I always plug the iphone into my computer and  
synch that way.
