Has anyone had experience of leasing a Mac rather than buying? I have been looking at hardsoft.co.uk who seem to have a deal where you pay eg £14 per week for a MacBook Pro 15" over three years. This is pretty expensive in the long run - £2,200 for a £1,300 model - except that you have the option to upgrade to a newer model after 18 months and keep the old one (or sell it). The three year contract then starts again.
Unless I am missing something, that looks quite attractive especially as they will also replace the machine if anything goes wrong. Any thoughts? [I am not connected to the company and there are probably others out there!] Richard --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
