Hi, Apologies for barging in and asking for help so shamelessly.
My 14" iBook G4 has recently undergone a catastrophic power failure. The (flat) battery will not charge, and AC power is not working either. I've bought an external drive and need to power up my laptop one last time to get my data off. I wonder whether anyone in the group has (or knows someone who has) the same model so that I could borrow their battery for an hour or so? Anyone who helps would have my deepest thanks--and coffee and cake!
