Thanks, Paul,  You have saved me a lot of money!   Logging in to a new user
account has shown that there is nothing wrong with computer (graphics show
up fine) therefore it is a corruption of the software on the virginia routh
account.  Should I delete this account?  If so how do I transfer all my
stuff ie bookmarks, desktop etc to the new user account?
