Hi Gilly

You'l need to go to www.epson.co.uk > click on support > type in the model 
number of your scanner > click on Drivers > download the latest version of 
Epson Scan. That should put the scan facility back. If you're using Photoshop 
CS4 you'll need to download their optional TWAIN plugin for scanning.
