So, I'm going to install Snow Leopard and
will back up the machine using Time Machine
first. I wondered if anyone could help with a
couple of quick questions.

1. Should I try and update any installed apps
first to their Snow Leopard versions or can I
wait until after the upgrade and just let
them 'tell' me one by one as I try and run
them? What's the best strategy?
2. Should everything go horribly wrong, will
I be able to backtrack to my earlier
installation (OS included) using Time Machine?
