HI All Can I ask all what is the average size of hard drive we all use for backups ? i.e. time machine or other devices . My reason for asking is that when I started doing computer forensics I had 250 MB and maximum of 10GB of hard drive space to examine but now I regularly examine TB's. I am wonder what in 2009 / 2010 what is the average for personal hard drive storage. I have only a 250 GB hard drive for my time machine backup and was thinking of purchasing a 1TB drive.
For your information I have at work 4TB on my desktop machine and 2TB external storage our server has 22TB. This is just for a bit of research into ongoing trends and what we can expect as an average. if your interested dont block up SMUG just reply to [email protected] I would be interested in your replies Thanks Ray Packham On 15 Sep 2009, at 09:15, Paul Owen wrote: > > Rob, > > May I ask why you don't leave Time Machine running all the time.
