Derek,

I won't get anything higher than 72dpi from a screen shot. When I  
generate screen shots myself, I'll do them at maximum screen size on  
my 24" iMac so that by the time they are reduced to fit a diagram on  
the page, they'll have effectively gained some resolution. Trouble is,  
the shots I have to deal with at the moment are being generated in- 
house by the client and have not been done at full screen.

The bit I don't understand however is how they can look fine in Pages  
(despite their low res nature), fine when transferred to Indesign via  
copy/paste, but crap as soon as I try and "export" and edit them  
before placing them in Indesign.
