when I said 'non-techie'.... I really meant it. there's no need. She is up and running on the PCs with internet email etc. She wants to 'work' on the Mac. Sounds eminently sensible to me, as someone who uses his home mac to do lots of work. You never know when it ends. And I would be the one setting up VM Ware Fusion so that she could, er, do what she does already.
