I remember reading that in Snow Leopard the spell check automatically works out what language you are using. I can't seem to get this to work (I'm aware that it works on a 'per paragraph' minimum) but when I type documents in French or German I still get a sea of red underlining (which reminds me of my schooldays). Does it need to be switched on? I've looked at the Language and Text control panel and set the spell check to Automatic by Language to no avail.
