Sadly that hasn't made any difference Sam. Weirdly, when I logged in as Admin, before doing anything, I launched Activity Monitor and it was absolutely fine. However, after clicking a few folders in the Finder, the Finder then locked up. Once that had happened, AM would no longer launch.
Did you mean just ~/Library/Caches or is there another folder?
