ever since I upgraded iTunes it's become utterly useless. I get SPOD every time I type a character or click on something. I've run Diskwarrior on the machine plus the external drive with the music.
One factor is that it seems to determine the gapless playback info every launch. Given that it seems to want to do this on well over 1,000 songs (not all of them) each time, it's largely useless to me now. Is this typical?
