John I fully agree with that, having 2 LaCie drives (120Gb & 300Gb). I wonder what is the problem with those who seem to be so set against LaCie. Originally, I reformatted the older LaCie to be compatible with Mac (as it was formatted for MSDOS) and have had no problems at all. Although there were a few occasions when the 12Gb was initially not being recognised on the firewire (but that was not it's fault).
