I think it was 'as expected' under Leopard. I think Automator has some stuff that might work. I usually extract all pages via Acrobat as single pages, then open the first one in Preview, then drag all the others into the sidebar. This avoids Acrobat adding them all in the wrong order and other weirdnesses. But the whole thing is a bit clumsy. I had this sussed until Preview changed in Snow leopard! -- As to those for whom to work hard, to begin and begin again, to attempt and be mistaken, to go back and rework everything from top to bottom, and still find reason to hesitate from one step to the next -- as to those, in short, for whom to work in the midst of uncertainty and apprehension is tantamount to failure, all I can say is that clearly we are not from the same planet.
