I use a apple base station and have only reset it once in 12 months and then only because i fiddled with the settings as i was bored one day, i have never had a more reliable bit of kit its connected to netgear modem and the combination just seems to work , I am also connected to Virgin cable that i have to say is for me at 20meg is very reliable so the combination for me seems very reliable.
I know what you mean about the BT base station I have not heard any really good words about them and BT have just started advertising a BT internet booster that cleans up your line and improves your connection speed, maybe its all connected .... too many complaints about bad connections?
