Hi Jason,

In reply to your question "Does anyone else have…".

I have the one which from last December ('08) and have had no problems
(tempting fate?) and have only had to reset it once, which was because I had a
problem with my MBP dropping connection - wirelessly; cable is fine. The 5
other Macs in the house are still connecting fine. Previous to the black one, I
had the white version for at least two years and it was also fine.

Couldn't explain why ours has been OK and yours has not, sorry.

Hope you get it sorted out.

John

Subject: [sussex_mug] Bt Homehub routers

I just need to say this first, please.

I really really really really really really really really really hate the BT
homehub POS.

Right. I recently got a BT Homehub router/modem as part of a new deal. It works
then I lose the network. Or it asks me for the password, which is in the
keychain. Eventually I discovered that the only way to sort out this almost
once-a-day scenario is to unplug the power, and then reconnect it and wait.
Annoying but I can live with it (my old, slower, Netgear needed this about once
every 8 months). Now it won't reconnect at all (though if you get this, it must
have done).

My question is a simple one -- does anyone else have one of these black,
slightly designer things? do you have the same problem?
