Hi JohnSounds like you're triggering either Spaces or Exposé. Go to Apple Menu > System Prefs > Exposé & Spaces > Exposé > check to see what the "active screen corners" are set to. It may be that (for example) your top left corner is set to trigger Exposé.
Also, click on the Spaces tab and take a look at what key commands are set to switch between different Spaces. If you don't use it you can just untick the Enable Spaces box.
It could also be your Mouse preferences too, click on the "Show All" button in System Preferences then click on Mouse. If you've got an Apple Mighty Mouse then the side buttons could be set to trigger Exposé/Spaces.
