My wife has a presentation to do on Saturday. Her hotel has a
projector but no laptop. So we decided to use my G4 PowerBook (OS X
10.5.8). The Panasonic projector came with a VGA cable so I bought a
VGA-DVI adaptor. So far so good.
Wiring everything up, the projector showed my desktop picture but no
deslktop icons. We played the DVD required for the presentation and it
played perfectly on the laptop but did not show on the projector. I
have tried various settings on the projector but to no avail.
Normally when I have used my PowerBook with a projector, and used Auto
Set-up on the projector, I have been up and running within seconds.
But not this time. For the record we are using a Panasonic lcd pt-
lc75e and I am plugged into the RGB port.
Any help would be most gratefully received.
