We have a 4 year old G5 iMac with iSight. My wife said last night "We need a new one, I keep getting a [to paraphrase her slightly] SBOD on the internet."
So, do I: - meekly agree and go and buy her (=me) a 27" iMac, flogging the old G5 whilst doing that sucky teeth thing mechanics do when it's going to be expensive? - repair permissions, empty her cache and generally tidy things up for her so our perfectly adequate and really still quite speedy iMac is a bit more speedy for her?
