I have a few irritating issues with the new iphone. When the signal drops out
(which is frequently) I get an annoying notification which 'lights up' the
phone. I'm sure it's one of the reasons why the phone seems to eat battery
power. Any ideas how to turn this off?

I also have a bumper but couldn't fit my e-sure headphone jack through the
opening. Some radical surgery was needed to accommodate the headphones which
I'm sure has compromised the bumper.

The signal loss is annoying. My partner is now using the old iphone and we're
both on the O2 network. We can be in the same room and my phone will suddenly
lose signal whilst the old iphone is still happily displaying several bars.
